You will spend hours of your spare time watching these beautiful gemstones. They are the LARGEST faceted sphalerites that I have seen for sale anywhere. I have three, no more. Almost impossible to obtain now. 25 - 30 years old. These gemstones are moderately included, but it is normal in this material.

These items came from the classic locality for Gem Sphalerite, the Picos de Europa Mountains, Spain. (See the photo below) Sphalerite have twice the diffraction (fire) of diamonds. The color is very rich in amber hues..red, orange.. with amazing color zoning. The color and depth of patterning can only be appreciated in person. Just expectacular.
