Gem Sphalerite

 

John Sinkankas was a member of the Mineralogical Association of America, the American Gem Society, the Mineralogical Association of Canada, and the Geosciences Information Society. In one of his books (Van Nostrand´s Standard Catalog of Gems) he wrote some definitive lines about the gem Sphalerite from Picos de Europa Mountains.
